1a: Firstly, open the integrated clasp at 12 o'clock by inserting your nail into the small space designed for this purpose and lifting up the guilloché cover.

1b: Place the watch around your wrist and insert the clasp into the buckle.

1c: Close the clasp by pressing the cover.

1d: When you close the clasp, you will hear a distinct "click" which tells you that the watch is properly closed and will not open inadvertently. Even in the unlikely event of the clasp opening accidentally, the watch is fitted with a practical and reliable safety device designed to prevent the watch falling off your wrist. The special shape of the clasp, with its two small side hooks, keeps it attached to the buckle, even if the cover opens.

Changing the strap

1: Each leather strap is fitted with a bar on one side (A) and a bar with a screwed metal plate on the other side (B).

Removing the strap:

2: Turn the watch over and push the catch under the strap sideways to separate it from the case.

3: Then push the catch under the metal plate (on the clasp side) to separate the strap from the clasp.

4: The watch is now dismantled into three separate parts: the case (A), the clasp (B) and the strap (C).

Turn the watch over, and place it next to the strap and case.

1: Start by assembling the clasp and strap by inserting the metal plate into the two slots provided.

2: Then fix the strap to the case by pushing the catch on the side of the strap sideways and inserting the bar into the holes in the case: first the right-hand one, then the left-hand one. Release the catch. The strap is now in place and you can now open the watch normally.

Water resistance

Water resistance
Apart from certain high jewellery models and historical watch models, all Piaget watches are water-resistant for up to 30 metres.

The water resistance of a watch protects its interior from any risk of deterioration due to infiltration of dust or immersion in water. Piaget guarantees the water resistance of its water-resistant watches for a two-year period as of the date of purchase, subject to guarantee exclusions.

High jewellery models and historical watches that are not water-resistant are nonetheless resistant to running water and dust.

Tips on caring for your watch

Tips on caring for your watch
In order to maintain the radiance of your watch and metal bracelet (if it has one), we recommend that you clean it regularly using a soft brush and slightly soapy water.

After this operation or any dip in seawater, it must be rinsed under running water and dried using a non-abrasive cloth.

You may also use the "Piaget cleaning kit" specially designed for this purpose.
We also advise that you have the water resistance of your watch checked every two years by an authorised Piaget dealer.
