Quartz Movement
A genuine pioneer of this technology, whose achievements include creating the world's thinnest quartz movement in 1976, Piaget has pursued its efforts to push back the boundaries of excellence ever since. Building on its broad experience in the conception and production of mechanical movements, Piaget has made a noteworthy contribution to the development of quartz movements.
Piaget quartz movements are entirely developed and produced in the Manufacture Piaget. To ensure optimal user-friendliness every day, they combine precision and an autonomy of several years.
These movements feature the finishing touches that are inherent to the Manufacture Piaget: circular "Côtes de Genève", circular-grained main plates, bevelled and drawn bridges and blued screws.

Water resistance
Apart from certain high jewellery models and historical watch models, all Piaget watches are water-resistant for up to 30 metres.
The water resistance of a watch protects its interior from any risk of deterioration due to infiltration of dust or immersion in water. Piaget guarantees the water resistance of its water-resistant watches for a two-year period as of the date of purchase, subject to guarantee exclusions.
High jewellery models and historical watches that are not water-resistant are nonetheless resistant to running water and dust.

Tips on caring for your watch
In order to maintain the radiance of your watch and metal bracelet (if it has one), we recommend that you clean it regularly using a soft brush and slightly soapy water.
After this operation or any dip in seawater, it must be rinsed under running water and dried using a non-abrasive cloth. You may also use the "Piaget cleaning kit" specially designed for this purpose.
We also advise that you have the water resistance of your watch checked every two years by an authorised Piaget dealer.
