The ultra-thin movements
12P movement
Ultra-thin, self-winding
Manufacture Piaget 12P ultra-thin self-winding mechanical movement.
The historic 12P movement incarnates the first generation of Piaget self-winding movements. Launched in 1960, the 12P movement was the thinnest self-winding movement in the world of its time: 2.3 mm thick. It features an off-centred oscillating weight in 18K gold.
The vertical Côtes de Genève, the circular-grained mainplate and the bevelled bridges round off this exceptional movement, recalling the aesthetic codes cherished by the Swiss watchmaking brand.
